MUST READ! – Certification news

The UKTDC has for many years had a very close relationship with Kukkiwon, being the lead body for dealing with them and attending courses. Recently we received notification from Kukkiwon that it wanted a Kukkiwon office set up in the UK for higher Dan applications which BT has been asked to administer. Unfortunately BT have been slow to respond and not forthcoming with detailed information, our current understanding of the terms and setup identifies a number of serious issues which we are raising with BT and other involved parties.

Until such time as the issues can be resolved we will only be applying for kwan certification such as Chungdokwan from Korea and NOT Kukkiwon cerification. We will honour those that are currently in our system to be applied for until 1st April or until such time as the issues are resolved.
